Primrose
Spring 2020-2021
Material created for my Elder Scrolls Online guild, Primrose. Primrose is a veteran raiding guild with over 800 Discord members, run entirely by females, aiming to create a harassment-free, non-toxic space for the guild members to pursue difficult content within the game. Primrose also aims to help newer members assimilate to veteran content better through beautiful graphics.
Media created with Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe AfterEffects, and Python.
Business Cards
Admins and officers of Primrose often joke about how running a guild is almost like a full-time job, given the scale of things needed to be addressed, organized, resolved, and planned. This is how I envision Primrose business cards, if we were an actual business.
Ranks & Requirements
With the release of each new patch in the Elder Scrolls Online, player skills, abilities, and item sets are rebalanced, which requires us to re-evaluate how much skill is required to complete certain content.
Naturally, each time we update our ranks I create a new graphic showing these ranks, sorted clearly, making it easy for new and return players to understand our requirements.
Strategic Diagrams
All 12-man content in the game at a veteran, score-pushing, achievement-hunting level requires strategies on positioning, as well as high damage output. Newer players unfamiliar with the mechanics of the game often struggle with positioning, which is why I wanted to make easy-to-understand diagrams (that weren’t just drawn in MS Paint) to help every player understand how to correctly play their role.
Roll For It Bot
Elder Scrolls Online uses a randomized loot drop table, making certain coveted items quite rare and hard to obtain. In an effort to make things fair, I created a simple Discord bot using Python and JSON that returns a number from 1-100, and the person who rolls the highest number gets to take the item.
